Just Perfect
I stayed for 3 nights and wished it was the whole month. The house is new, modern, well located, in a quiet place, with phenomenal views, very cozy, no matter the weather, one feels at home. Ben was too kind, smooth check in. I would return to this magical place without a doubt.

What a beautiful house, view and location. The house itself exceeded expectations - it was exactly as described, but the view is definitely even better in person. The beds were very comfortable, lovely rain showers, good kitchen supplies and we enjoyed evening fires and morning coffees on the deck. You need to bring all of your own spices etc for cooking as only salt and pepper is provided (not a problem just for a helpful tip!). Cell and internet reception were good and we enjoyed all the sights (and crazy weather!!) of Skye.

Beautiful cottage in stunning location
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is stunning. The property is modern, spacious, open and bright and has great facilities and furnishings. The view of the sea and islands through the huge glass door/window is amazing. Communication with the property manager was also very good. Thoroughly recommend!

We had a great time one Isle of Skye. The island is beautiful and the view from the house is as good as it gets. The house itself was cosy, well equipped , very warm and nice given the cold and very very windy weather outside. It was very new when we stayed and seemed to have been made with a lot of love and care. Would definitely love to go and stay again.

We had a great stay in Hallin. The house is very new but has a very nice homely feel. The views are spectacular. Even in average weather the view was beautiful. The place is very tranquil. Quiet throughout the day and night. Very little little pollution it gets very dark at night and one can see a lot of stars. Kitchen is well equipped. The house was very neat and clean. Toilets squeaky clean. Very warm also in there given the windy cold weather outside. The house has underfloor heating throughout and the living room has a fireplace. Very cosy and homely place.

Location: quiet and great views. The place: clean, tidy, put together with sensitive taste and great spec. Go there again: 100% yes please. Only recommendation: please add a sign with the place name/number down at the bottom of the drive to make it slightly easier to find it at night. it was three of us and every single one of us would stay in the same place again without a shadow of doubt.

The log burner and great set up made staying in equally as appealing as getting out to explore the island. A real treat. The house is beautiful with everything you need and very clean! Tidal Reach is just as it looks in the photos. The house is immaculate and provided the perfect base for us on Skye. It was a lovely surprise to have the Arran products - the house generally was really well stocked. We’d absolutely recommend it.

Fantastic place, amazing location and views. The place inside is superb and the pictures don’t do it justice. Beds comfy, lots of nice touches in the house and everything clean and in good condition. 30 min walk to the Stein Inn and Loch Bay restaurants. Would stay again.

Photos do not do the house justice, it’s fantastic inside. The location is great with amazing views over the sea. Beds were very comfy and the cleanliness and features were great. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Stein Inn and Loch Bay about 30mins walk away.

A beautiful and restful place! A home away from home!
Positive: Location - the view overlooking the sea was spectacular! Very peaceful and restful environment as it was further away from touristy locations. It is really well-decorated as well. We felt right at home the moment we stepped in. Facilities - Very clean and very well equipped. The host has very thoughfully equipped the home with all the necessary appliances for comfortable living. It felt like home! They even had a bottle of welcome wine for us! Very thoughtful of them! Host - super helpful and clear in giving directions/ instructions for check in and out. Negative: Given that this place is about 35 mins from Portree, it does take some time to get in and out. There are also no co-ops or convenience shops nearby to buy daily necessities. So it is important to buy them in Portree or Dunvegan before heading in. It was not a big deal for us as we were well-prepared for it. For summer season, it would be great to have portable fans in the apartment. Midges are quite common which means we cannot open the windows when we sleep, thus getting stuffy.

Positive: Location fantastic extremely well presented beautiful furnishings. Very comfortable Negative: More kitchen equipment there was a lack of serving dishes, place mats, utensils. Could not regulate the temperature of the rooms so bedrooms were very stuffy at night. Couldn’t open the windows.

We have to say that this has to be among the best, if not the best, AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely the worst part of the experience was having to leave. The highlight was the Highland coos who made their way to the paddock opposite, stopping by to say a friendly impromptu hello on the way. The property is modern, immaculate and very well insulated. The scenery is stunning, the home truely offers the full Skye experience. We definitely plan to stay here again

Dream come true stay - inspiring views!
This was everything we were hoping for and more for a picturesque stay on the Isle of Skye. I only wish we had stayed longer, there is so much to see and do very close by. We day tripped to the Fairie Glen, Old Man of Storr, Coral Beach, and Dunvegan castle. The house is immaculate and super comfortable, and the staff all went above and beyond communicating and helping us figure everything out, especially Kat! Definitely take their recommendations for places to eat in Portree - best meals of our entire trip. Will definitely try and stay here again when we venture back to these mystical Highlands!

Adembenemende locatie! Dat ga je nooit meer vergeten! De ruimte is zoals op de foto's en makkelijk te vinden. Echt uniek! Toiletpapier, peper, zout en dergelijke is aanwezig. Bij onze aankomst was het huis niet schoon. Overal zwarte haren van mensen en vieze ijskast. Contact gezocht met Skye Accommodation en zij wilde meteen langs komen, maar wij gaven aan dat de volgende morgen ook ok was daar Skye 45 minuten nodig had om bij de locatie te zijn en het al avond was. Later de avond kregen we te horen dat er dubbel geboekt was. Dit gaf, buiten dat het huis niet schoon was ook weer stress en was net prettig. Later bleek het geen dubbele boeking te zijn en konden we gaan genieten van onze 3 dagen in Hallin. Het huis is de volgende ochtend super schoongemaakt en dat was fijn. Het is erg warm in het huis en de ramen van de slaapkamers en de badkamers kunnen niet verder open dan op een kier. Ook is de boiler niet ingericht op het douchen van 4 mensen.

We would have given a 5 star review, if it wasn't for the trouble we had in finding the place. We did receive instructions of how to get there, but there was no street name etc. so not easy to find. It would have been a lot easier if the road name that we supposed to turn up to was mentioned, which is called Oran Na Mara. Also we found it a bit more remote than we would have liked. It took us 45 minutes to drive to Portree where we went to do some grocery shopping. We liked Portree very much but wish it was closer. However the house is just as the photos if not better and the view was stunning. We got lucky on our last night and witnessed a stunning sunset. Also every morning the highland cows would come right in front of the house. We also loved the Dunvegan castle with it's beautiful gardens, which actually was not far from the house, about 15-20 minutes drive. In the end Isle of Skye ended up being one of our favorite places we went to in Scotland.

This cottage was incredible! With the Outer Hebrides Islands visible in the distance, it is located on a hillside near the village of Hallin in Waternish and overlooks a beautiful bay that is connected to Loch Dunvegan and the North Atlantic. The setting is picture postcard perfect! On the outside, the cottage was built stylistically to fit in with the traditional whitewashed Scottish cottages that you see frequently in Scotland. On the inside, it was very modern and welcoming. Large windows and sliding glass doors faced the ocean allowing us to take in the beautiful vista in the comfort of the living space. While modern in style, the cottage was not cold or sterile in its décor. In fact, we found it to be very warm, inviting, and comfortable. After our daily excursions on Skye, we thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the cottage to unwind. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bathrooms are modern, and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The fact it is about 8 miles off the main road (A850), you get very little traffic on the one-track road in front of the cottage and basically no ambient light. If location is everything, we can testify whole-heartedly that this cottage delivers 110% on that measure. While not located in the middle of Skye, we felt the cottage was a great home base for exploring the magnificent beauty of Skye yet still allowing us peace and solitude in a beautiful scenic setting. If you are planning a visit to Skye, this cottage is the place to be!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property - it has a great open-plan layout and is spacious and bright. The huge glass window/door gives incredible views across the sea and islands. It is clean and really well furnished and equiped. The weather was too cold for us to use the outside seating area and not cold enough for us to use the stove but both looked great! Communication with the property manager was also good. Thoroughly recommend!

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft auf der Isle ok Skye. Top ausgestattet, sauber und komfortabel, absolut zum Wohlfühlen. Die Kommunikation war erstklassig und die Aussicht ist der absolute Traum. Als Familie sollte man nur bedenken, dass die Kinder in unmittelbarer Umgebung vom Haus nicht besonders viele Spielmöglichkeiten haben.

This is a beautiful rental!!!!! Right on the coast with a gorgeous west view. The first night we had winds of 70-80mph and, you could definitely hear them, the unit was solid and sound. Everything you need to start a fire is ready and available. They deliver more wood periodically. It’s a great spot to experience the Isle of Skye with the ruggedness of the land.

Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, scenic and away from some of the busier parts of Skye but still with great restaurants around. A nice scenic drive to some of the main walks on the island. The accommodation itself is stunning, well furnished and good amenities. Keybox check in was easy and flexible. Tablet with check in and instruction videos was helpful. Overall a lovely stay. Would have been a little trickier to find at nightbut visible from the road in the day.

This is a beautiful rental with a gorgeous view. The fireplace is well made and everything you need to get a roaring fire going in minutes, is provided. We had gale force winds a few nights. Even though, you could definitely hear the wind, the structure was solid and sound. The kitchen is modern and well stocked. It is a SIPS panels eco house, so pay attention to the wall switches and instructions in the kitchen. Great place to base camp for exploring Skye. Kells was very responsive and we thank her for her assistance!
