Central location overlooking centre of Portree
We enjoyed the well appointed flat and received immediate assistance with a couple of snags from Ben and Pauline on the team. Location was excellent close to the centre of Portree and a great base for exploring the island.

Beautiful flat in perfect spot
The apartment may not have had a view but it was a perfect spot. Literally looking right at the main square of Portree it was in the heart yet secluded. It was very clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed and having a washer dryer was amazing after days trailing through muddy hills. We felt right at home.

Fabulous Apartment
Stayed at the Apartment for 4 nights at the end of October. Really lovely place to stay. Great location, nice and central. Inside it’s really comfortable, we were just a couple but plenty room for 4 if need be. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owners were easy to get in touch with if need be. WIFI was great. Can’t fault the place, would definitely go back if visit Skye again.

What a find! Pros: Centrally located - couldn't get closer to the action if you camped in the town square. Private parking place - bonus! Incredibly responsive team before, during, and after our visit. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, two-bedroom apartment. Beds were great - and the place, for all it's central location, was QUIET. Close to a pharmacy, market, deli and restaurants Cons: Not a one Wished we could have stayed here longer, it was that nice a place. Bravo, Ben!

This place is literally above a church. The wifi signal is weak and borderline not working at times, but the place is remodeled and has all the mod cons. It is charming and comfortable. If you are tall like me, the bed might be a slight issue but beside that great place. Ben, who manages the place, is great, very accommodating, and his girlfriend manages a nearby restaurant, they totally hooked us up. Great home base for exploring the Isle of Skye.

LOCATION location location! Easy walking to the restaurants, shops and pubs, harbor and views of beauty. Originally a parish apartment, so there is a unique feel to the place. We really like old churches, and it was nice to stay somewhere original. We enjoyed the view of "downtown," and people watching, as well as decoration of the space itself. BATH TUB was amazing. Huge and clean. Nice base for our drive around Skye. Easy parking for visit. Only downside is we couldn’t quite get the place to heat up. Was freezing in middle of night. Think heat timer was off. Overall, stay was great! Would stay again.

It is newly renovated and everything is very modern & spotlessly clean. The kitchen includes a large fridge and washing machine. A bottle of wine on the kitchen table greeted us upon our arrival. It is very quiet which helped us get a great night's sleep. What a wonderful apartment; highly recommend to all!

Great location and great apartment - four large, bright, clean rooms (It's in an old building, so expect all that goes with that). Its been updated beautifully and is wonderfully comfortable. As you've probably gathered by now, its in a church building, on the second floor of what appears to be the offices. There was no immediately adjacent neighbors, so its quiet. It has a view of the main square and comes with some nice perks, like a bottle of wine and coffee. One of the best Air BnB's I've stayed in as far as the space goes. You'll want to move in forever. They answered specific questions in a timely manner. However, it should be noted that this apartment is managed by a management company that requires a very egregious contract, assigning way too much power to them. They have their own app and a corporate and automated manner of dealing with guests .

Ideally located right in the heart of Portree, the Apartment was a fabulous place to stay as a base for all our Skye activities. We ventured north one day and south the other and saw all the great places. Very near many restaurants and shops. It was such a charming unit in a cool old church. Very private and spacious. We enjoyed the comfortable living room, played cards at the kitchen table and cooked in breakfast each day in the well stocked kitchen. The Skye Service team was helpful and responsive to our pre-arrival questions. We were very pleased.

Cute as it can be! Had everything that we needed and more. Great location to town. Just a heads up though, we were there in the off-season and it was still hard to get seating for dinner. Go early as the restaurants say they close at nine but they actually quit taking any seating around eight. We had to wait at least an hour every night before being seated.

Hidden gem! This place is absolutely amazing. My family of 4 stayed here 2 nights while exploring the Isle of Skye, and I couldn't have hoped for a more comfortable and relaxin place to return to at the end of each day. This space has it all. Super comfortable beds, large kitchen (fully equipped) to cook in, close to the heart of Portree (Co-Op is a 5min stroll down the road), and more! I would 100% stay here again! There are a flight of stairs you have climb, so maybe consider that when booking. If not?! Then stop looking because if this place is available, just go ahead and book right now. You're welcome. :)

Nicely decorated, good quality toiletries and things like basics in the kitchen - tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, oil. Negative: Nothing. Couldn’t complain about anything. Maybe the only thing to say is, it wasn’t cheap but we shared so that helped with the cost although I would go back there without others quite happily.

Positive: The appartman is very comfortable, well equiped, and it was a funy supprise for us, that the apartmant is a part of an old church. It is situated in the citycenter, close to some restauant too. Negative: The bed was too soft, very fluffy, so it was not comfortable for us. It Portree, and also in the Skye island very dificult to find free table in the restaurants for dinner. You must book a table a day before, but in many restaurants not possible to book table, so the only way to eat, if you wait 60-90 minutes in the street, in front of the restaurants, for free table (see the attached photo). We never meet this problem in other places of Europe. It was realy serious dificulties during our trip (to find our dinner possibilities)

Negative: Instructions for heating would be helpful as sometimes needed to boost the heating and would have been helpful to understand how to set for a short period of time. Helpful if there was a recycling box in kitchen as a lot of paper, bottles and cardboard put in with the general rubbish. A couple of little issues - dishwasher needs some salt and click in kitchen needs a new battery as click stopped.

Positive: The apartment is well furnished and has a lovely homely feel. The location is great with views onto the town square. I would recommend this apartment and definitely book it again on my next visit to Skye. Negative: There were no wardrobes for hanging clothes. Similar to previous reviews the clear glass entrance door is a bit off putting at first. To give you a feeling of privacy I would suggest a voile/net curtain is put on the door.

Seuls petits bémols : le manque de vaisselle, de couverts et d’ustensiles de cuisine pour 4 personnes. Manque également d’un petit carnet pour nous expliquer comment fonctionne le chauffage, ce qu’il faut faire des poubelles, si l’on peut utiliser la cheminée, etc. Mais le propriétaire était facilement joignable, même un peu tard dans la journée. Nous recommandons cet appartement sans hésiter.

Positive: Location was superb, just one minute walk from all the pubs and restaurants. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, I loved it. We were there on a heavy snow day and the place was warm, the heating and hot water works very efficiently. The place is modernised, all amenities available. Negative: Overall we were very happy and I don't have any negative impressions at all. If I really had to nitpick I would say that a curtain for the upstairs door could be an optional added bonus as it was entirely glass (no one has entry to the building though, it is just you, so not necessarily a security or privacy concern).

We actually were not able stay in the location above the church because the building experienced a problem with their heating. However, when we arrived the hosting company arrived immediately and had already arranged for a replacement location. We are incredibly pleased with how they handled the situation. The place we were able to stay in was beautiful and wonderful. We would highly recommend any location that is managed by this company as they were great to deal with!

Negative: I didn't have a good check-in experience. The check-in email I received contained the lock box code incorrect, so we had to make a call to the host to get it sorted. Though the bedrooms were quite specious, but no cupboard was provided to keep the clothing. I feel the property was pricey and not the value for the money we paid.

A let down.
After the glowing reviews of others I didn’t expect to encounter issues but we did. The emailed instructions for access were incorrect and we had to phone for assistance. We then found out the wifi code was out of date too. We opened the door to a musty smelling building. Although the apartment is spacious and nicely furnished it is old. Good points- nice modern kitchen, location in the centre of town, hot shower. Not so good- Only 1/4 roll of toilet paper supplied for our arrival on a Sunday night. The tv didn’t work ( still waiting to hear back from the managers for assistance ). The bed is small. No PowerPoints in the bathroom and had to unplug the bedside tables and drag a mirror across the room to use the hairdryer. The cupboard housing the ironing board and drying rack is filthy. No instructions books for any appliances except the washing machine. Interesting that management has now sent us 3 emails about their expectations for how the property should be left. Yet none has responded to our concerns. Not what I’d hoped for at almost $500 per night.

Negative: Please note I have searched recent reviews but it seems with the comments from the last 2 last months that these have NOT been taken on board. So to note: Keys - both internal key & external key were in the external lockbox (so internal lock box empty Wifi network name and password were wrong in on arrival message given; we had to go to router unit to find details. Heater was on in living room, nice but was it meant to be? Wifi cutting out for movie multiple times, such a shame. Tv was in Navigator German then French; had to go to settings Beds: past reviews on the beds - people seem happy but I feel that’s the next thing to look at as they appear to be uneven and very soft. An instructional booklet on the heating, operating the oven and washing machine would be helpful. I could not figure out wall switches and labelling them would be helpful. Also you provide a full kitchen but minimal bowls, plates, serving dishes etc. A suggestion to bring your food in from outside Portree would be helpful as the local Coop was very limited for supplies.

The Apartment proved a great place to ground our exploration of the beautiful Isle of Skye. It is walking distance to all the shops and amenities of Portree but far enough from the Main Street to be quiet. The space is great for a family or 2 couples with room to stretch out and relax after a day exploring. The eat in kitchen was great for breakfast or if you decide to bring in dinner. I highly recommend.

It was very spacious giving my husband and daughter and her husband plenty of room to move around and watch tv together or hang out in the kitchen. This is a beautiful apartment located above a church in a quiet corner just off the main square. Close to town and restaurants. Also close to buses and cab stand. The apartments was spacious, sunny, clean and beautifully decorated…a space of calm after a hectic day. We especially enjoyed the soaking tub after hiking and the full kitchen with washer/ dryer unit. The Wi-Fi and television service worked great. And it is well-insulated from sound. The high end soaps and hair care products were a nice touch and the towels were soft. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Portree.
